Job summary

Unacademy in Bengaluru is seeking a detail-oriented loan operations associate to manage daily loan cases, coordinate with lenders and the Sales Team, and ensure timely processing as per defined TATs. You will monitor cases, follow up with teams, and resolve issues to keep the loan journey smooth.

The role involves handling escalations, guiding Sales on pending requirements, ensuring SOP adherence, and identifying mis-selling risks to take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loan cases and ensure timely processing as per defined TATs.
• Coordinate with lenders and the Sales Team for smooth processing of loan applications and closure of pending requirements.
• Monitor pending loan cases, identify bottlenecks, and follow up with the respective teams to ensure cases move forward.
• Handle loan-related escalations and coordinate with internal teams and lenders for timely resolution.
• Guide the Sales Team on pending requirements, non-approved cases, and possible resolutions.
• Coordinate with lenders and internal stakeholders to resolve learner/customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with defined processes and SOPs.
• Identify and analyse potential cases of mis-selling or non-compliance and take appropriate action/escalate the same.
• Identify recurring operational issues and work with the respective teams/lenders to improve the overall loan processing journey.
• Coordinate with lenders for course/goal mapping, re-mapping, and enabling required goals on the loan form.
• Assist the Sales Team with payment failures and other loan-related issues.
