Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Experience with Active Directory and LDAP/FreeIPA.
• Knowledge of AWS and NFS basics.
• Scripting in Bash and/or Python is desirable.
• Familiarity with VPN, SSH, and secure remote access tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Configure and troubleshoot secure remote access using SSH and VPN.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash/Python scripts.
• Provide user support for Confluence and Jira documentation tools.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.

Responsible for managing Linux-based infrastructure, supporting secure remote access, monitoring systems and LSF environments, and ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, including RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure remote access using SSH, VPN, and ThinLinc.
• Create and modify scripts or applications to automate administrative tasks
• Provide user support and administration for collaboration tools like Confluence and Freshservice.
• LSF Monitoring:- Storage usage monitoring and cleanup notifications
• - Long-running and abandoned job monitoring
• - Job right-sizing analysis
• - Monthly killed job analysis
• - User communication and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs and implement solutions.
• Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Perform routine server administration tasks such as system updates, patch management, andperformance monitoring.
• Ensure system security and integrity through regular audits and backups.
• Manage and optimize basic server services such as DNS, DHCP, and file systems.
