Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a skilled Licensing & Commercial Management professional in Mumbai to optimize Microsoft licensing programs (CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, Open Value). You will drive cost analysis, deal benchmarking, and ROI improvements while advising customers on solutions that maximize ROI and compliance.

You'll support the sales team, nurture a robust customer pipeline, and deliver licensing workshops and trainings.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs (CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, Open Value).
  • 3-6 years of experience in Microsoft licensing, SAM, commercial management.
  • Ability to conduct cost analysis, ROI assessments, and licensing optimization.
  • Experience supporting sales teams in complex deal structuring and customer conversations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Partner Center, PSX, or similar portals.

  • Develop dashboards and trackers for business reviews with leadership.

  • Advise customers on the most effective licensing solutions to maximize ROI and compliance.
  • Support the sales team in positioning organizations value proposition to win large and complexlicensing deals.
  • Deliver Microsoft software advisory and license optimization projects.
  • Conduct licensing workshops and training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Provide licensing helpdesk support for large enterprise customers and resolve complex queries.
  • Maintain 100% compliance of OEM trainings and certifications across teams.
  • Administer vendor portals (e.g., PSX, Microsoft Partner Center) for updates, data validation,and user management.
  • Organize vendor-funded campaigns and events (PowerDays, webinars, customer round tables)
  • Enable internal teams through ongoing Licensing and Program knowledge sessions.
Program Management & Execution
  • Conduct detailed program briefings and training sessions for sales and presales teams.
  • Support Sales (Account Managers) in identifying opportunities, renewals, and incrementalrevenue streams.
  • Maintain an active customer pipeline and track conversion from engagement to license purchase.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and program trackers for business reviews with Microsoft and Crayon Leadership.
