Job summary

Proximus Group is seeking a contract-focused start to mid-level professional in Mumbai, responsible for drafting, reviewing and vetting contracts including supply and services, and coordinating legal clarifications with Sales and Product teams.

The role involves handling litigation-related tasks such as drafting notices, responses, and briefs, and supporting licensing and IP matters. You will liaise with multiple departments to ensure compliance and timely execution of agreements.

Requirementsand Responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing and vetting of various agreements such as Supply & Services, Hold interactive sessions with other departments like Sales, Product team to brief them on legal clarifications and taking briefs on requirements for Communication and messaging and IT enabled mobile telephony services; drafting new product agreements with suitable terms and conditions, review of KYC documents of Customers and uploading the same for verification on company’s ERP; Telecom Value Added Services & other Commercial Contracts; Contractual risk evaluation and recommend mitigation measures.
• Initiate / defend and pursue litigation proceedings including drafting of legal notices, replying to legal notices, drafting to suit, petitions, replies, briefing & appointing external Legal Counsels, preparing Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Statements, writ petitions etc.
• Assisting in obtaining various business licenses and registrations, Intellectual Property Rights matters.
• Liasioning with various departments.

Your Profile

• Reporting: Primary reporting to Sr. Manager with dotted line reporting to Head Legal
• Experience:
• Major: 0 to 3 years into contract management
• Minor: working experience into litigation in Courts, filing & proceedings.
