• Evaluate contractual risks and formulate risk mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and other departments to provide legal guidance and draft tailored product terms.
• Review customer KYC documentation and upload verified data to the ERP portal.
• Handle litigation end-to-end: draft legal notices, replies, suits, petitions, writ petitions, and related court documentation.
• Brief external legal counsel, obtain legal opinions, and settle pleadings.
• Assist in securing necessary business licenses, regulatory registrations, and handling IPR matters.

About the Opportunity / Organizer

Proximus Group is a leading provider of digital services and communication solutions operating in Belgium and international markets. Proximus is seeking a Legal Executive to join its team in Mumbai. The role encompasses comprehensive contract management, litigation support, corporate compliance, regulatory licensing, and intellectual property matters.

Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work

Reporting primarily to the Senior Manager with dotted-line reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Executive will:

• Draft, review, and vet commercial agreements, including Supply & Services contracts and Telecom Value Added Services agreements.

• Evaluate contractual risks and formulate risk mitigation measures.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and other departments to provide clear legal guidance and draft tailored product terms.

• Review customer KYC documentation and upload verified data to the ERP portal.

• Handle litigation end-to-end: draft legal notices, replies, suits, petitions, writ petitions, and related court documentation.

• Brief external legal counsel, obtain legal opinions, and settle pleadings.

• Assist in securing necessary business licenses, regulatory registrations, and handling Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) matters.
