Job summary

Geekyants in Bengaluru, India seeks a capable legal professional to independently draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, support day-to-day operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, handle notices and disputes, support international matters (USA/UK), and help develop the company's legal framework, policies, visa and insurance docs, and liaise with external advisers.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of Corporate, Contract, Labour laws and data privacy regulations (GDPR, DPDP).
• Ability to independently handle legal matters and provide business solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, risk assessment, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor agreements).
• Handle day-to-day legal operations and support internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate, Labour, and Data Privacy laws.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Handle legal notices, disputes, recovery matters, and litigation coordination.
• Support international matters, especially USA and UK.
• Assist in developing legal framework, processes, and policies.
• Assist with visa and insurance documentation.
• Liaise with external legal advisers and consultants.

• Handle day-to-day legal operations and provide legal support to internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate Laws, Labour Laws, and Data Privacy Regulations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, Operations and other wings of the company.
• Handle legal notices, disputes, recovery matters, and litigation coordination.
• Support international legal matters, particularly involving the USA and UK
• Assist in developing legal framework, processes, and policies for the company.
• Assist in handling ad hoc legal requirements, including but not limited to visa and insurance documentation.
• Liaise with external legal advisers and consultants.

Preferred candidate profile
