Job summary

Cognizant in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking an Associate - Legal to review and finalize contracts and other regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and playbook standards.

You will liaise with internal stakeholders to close transactions, assess legal and business risks, negotiate with clients and vendors, and support data analysis and management presentations, contributing to compliant, well-documented agreements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contracts law and fundamental legal concepts.
• Drafting, reviewing, and redlining contracts with attention to service domains.
• Review of contracts aligned with playbook positions and organizational standards.
• Aptitude for negotiation with external parties.
• Ability to collaborate with attorneys across geographies and adapt to regional standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
