Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of real estate leasing or related experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of the Ahmedabad real estate market is a plus.
• Strong follow-up and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with senior decision-makers, brokers and tenants.
• Commercial awareness and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and transactions simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and maintaining leasing reports.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to work independently.

About the Role

Karma Ventures is looking for a Leasing Associate to support the leasing and occupancy strategy across our real estate portfolio in Ahmedabad.

The role involves identifying prospective tenants, managing leasing enquiries, coordinating property visits, supporting negotiations, and helping drive successful transactions. You will work closely with internal teams, property stakeholders, brokers, and prospective occupiers to create a smooth and professional leasing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with prospective tenants for available properties.
• Manage incoming leasing enquiries and maintain an organized pipeline of prospects.
• Understand tenant requirements and recommend suitable spaces from the portfolio.
• Coordinate property visits, site inspections, and tenant meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective tenants, brokers, and channel partners.
• Prepare property information, proposals, presentations, quotations, and other leasing documentation.
• Support commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective tenants.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure availability, pricing, specifications, and property information are accurate.
• Follow up with prospects throughout the leasing process and maintain timely communication.
• Support preparation and coordination of Letters of Intent, term sheets, agreements, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, site visits, negotiations, and leasing closures.
• Monitor market trends, rental rates, competing properties, and tenant demand.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of local brokers, consultants, and potential occupiers.
• Assist in achieving occupancy and leasing targets across assigned assets.
• Provide regular leasing pipeline and performance updates to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve leasing performance and tenant experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate leasing, commercial property, business development, or a similar role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of the Ahmedabad real estate market would be an advantage.
• Strong follow-up and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with senior decision-makers, business owners, brokers, and prospective tenants.
