Job summary

Swiggy is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee large, technologically enhanced warehouses and drive SOPs, KPIs, and cost efficiency across the distribution network for Instamart. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and manage warehouse SLAs.

You will also plan mid-mile distribution, manage reverse logistics, forecast productivity, and lead lean improvements to support scalable growth and shrink reduction.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in establishing and managing large warehouse & logistics operations.
• Experience with F&V is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication & Excel skills.
• Ability to work with a team in a target-driven environment.
• Experience with 3PL partners and managing large teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, technologically enhanced high-end warehouse operations.
• Drive SOP and KPI for warehousing operations and benchmark them.

• Ensure warehouse efficiencies and SLA management.
• Plan distribution (Mid-mile logistics) and reverse logistics.
• Identify root causes of inventory deviation with cause-and-effect analysis.
• Drive productivity and improve cost efficiency; FEFO & FIFO management.
• Coordinate with Dark Store ops for smooth material movement.
• Conduct warehouse stock audits and reduce shrink.
• Engage with various teams to streamline processes and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage large, big box technologically enhanced high end warehouse operations.
• Driving SOP and KPI for warehousing operations and benchmark them.
• Work closely with all the functions to achieve overall business goals
• Warehouse efficiencies and SLA management.

Qualifications

• Having F&V experience will be an added advantage.
• Effective Analytical, Communications & Excel skills are a must.
• Ability to work as a team player in a target driven work environment
• Ability to work with 3PL partners
• Should have experience towards managing a large team, City heads/WH heads will be reporting into the candidate
• Ability think Consumer first and go deep into consumer needs and create innovative solutions for their needs
• Overall, should have managed warehousing planning, Distribution & logistic operations of leading organizations
• Ability to forecast and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others in an effort to reduce shrink.
• Ability to develop systems, processes, and infrastructure related to warehouse & logistic.
• Implemented lean process and innovative technology solutions to improve automation and productivity.
• Ability to analyzing various business scenarios and recommending prompt actions for exponentially expanding business
