Job summary

Swiggy is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to orchestrate mid-size warehouse activities, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management. You will monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to hit AOP targets, while leading middle-mile and reverse logistics to cut costs and reduce losses.

Collaboration with quality, compliance, and HR is essential to keep statutory alignment. You will manage 15-20 on-roll staff and 500-600 blue-collar workers, driving retention programs to lower

Qualifications

• Graduate with 4-8 years in warehouse operations.
• Experience managing an on-roll team of 15+ members.
• Strong problem solving and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
• Experience from Ecommerce/ quick commerce industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations of a mid size WH covering all departments including Inbound, Outbound, dispatch, inventory and liquidation.
• Monitor the KPIs of warehouses in the region and proactively take corrective actions to ensure the AOP targets are met.
• Lead the middle mile and reverse logistics between WH and PODs (Dark stores). Bring cost reduction and damage/pilferage reduction in the internal movements.
• Collaborate with quality, compliance, HR teams to ensure the WHs are compliant as per the statutory requirements.
• Monitor warehouse and logistics costs and ensure that AOP targets are met. Drive process improvements and vendor rate negotiations, transport route optimizations to bring cost efficiencies.
• Lead and mentor 15 - 20 on roll team members and 500 - 600blue collar associates.
• Drive manpower retention programs along with HR to control absenteeism and attrition and in turn improve productivity and reduce hiring cost
