Job summary

Adani Group in Mumbai is seeking a senior structural engineer to take end-to-end ownership of structural schemes, ensuring safe, efficient and buildable designs across projects. You will lead in-house peer reviews and coordinate with architecture, MEP and BIM teams to align interfaces and constructability.

The role includes managing the structural consultant ecosystem, supporting execution with controlled approvals and driving value engineering through alternative analyses and impact assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve structural schemes for efficiency, buildability and constructability.
• Conduct in-house peer review of DBR, geotechnical reports, analysis models, design calculations.
• Review GFC drawings to ensure compliance with codes and project standards.
• Coordinate with Arch/MEP/BIM teams on openings, shafts, loads and interfaces.
• Support value engineering by evaluating alternates and estimating cost/time impacts.
• Manage structural consultants and vendors: selection, SLAs and performance reviews.
• Support site execution through review of shop drawings, RFIs and NCR closures.
• Maintain standards and checklists to reduce errors and improve cycle time.

• structural scheme decisions and assurance ensuring safe, efficient and buildable structures across projects.
• in-house peer review of consultant deliverables (DBR, geotech, models, calcs, detailing, GFC) and closure of technical risks.
• coordination with architecture/MEP/BIM for interface alignment and constructability.
• managing structural consultant ecosystem and supporting execution deviations with controlled approvals.

Role & responsibilities

1. 1. Review and approve structural schemes for efficiency, buildability and constructability (systems, spans, grids).
2. 2. Conduct in-house peer review of DBR, geotechnical reports, analysis models, design calculations and reinforcement detailing.
3. 3. Review GFC structural drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and project standards.
4. 4. Coordinate with Arch/MEP/BIM teams on openings, shafts, loads, embedments and interface resolution.
5. 5. Support value engineering by evaluating alternates and quantifying impacts on cost, time and performance.
6. 6. Manage structural consultants/vendors: selection, onboarding, deliverable SLAs and performance reviews.
7. 7. Support site execution through review of key shop drawings, RFIs, deviations and major NCR closures.
8. 8. Maintain structural standards/checklists and lessons learnt library to reduce repeat errors and improve cycle time.
