Job summary

Jero Technologies in Bengaluru designs and builds advanced ServiceNow portals and Employee Center experiences. The role focuses on developing widgets with AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, and Bootstrap, and on configuring Page Designer, Theme Builder, and portal layouts.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow portals.
• Proficiency with AngularJS 1.x, JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS and Bootstrap.
• Familiar with Service Portal widgets, Page Designer, and theming concepts.
• Experience building REST integrations and Catalog items with ServiceNow APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, and maintenance of ServiceNow Service Portals and Employee Center experiences.
• Develop and enhance custom Service Portal widgets using AngularJS 1.x, JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, and Bootstrap.
• Configure and customize Page Designer, Theme Builder, portal layouts, themes, and navigation.
• Develop responsive, accessible portals optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement Employee Center Core/Pro capabilities, Workspace Experiences, Unified Navigation, and content-driven experiences.
• Configure Content Publishing Applications, Content Collections, Topics, and Content Automation.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripts using GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm (g_form), and other platform APIs.
• Design and implement REST API integrations and custom REST resources.
• Build and customize Service Catalog components, including Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, Variable Sets, Catalog UI Policies, and Catalog Client Scripts.
• Implement ACLs, Data Policies, Contextual Security, and Encryption Context where applicable.
• Analyze portal performance using DevTools, network analysis, and profiling techniques.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks from widgets, client/server scripts, and API calls.
• Work with Scoped Applications, Update Sets, and source control tools.
• Follow development best practices, reusable components, and maintainable architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, UX teams, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and development support to team members.
