Job summary

Cyient Limited in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced engineer specializing in static equipments to design and detail pressure vessels, tall columns, storage tanks and heat exchangers.

You will prepare technical specifications, perform strength calculations, and manage vendor interactions, with a strong grasp of ASME BPVC, EN, API codes and EU PED requirements.

This role involves coordinating with suppliers, reviewing vendor documents, and ensuring conformance to international standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing & detailing Static Equipments: Pressure Vessels, Tall Columns, Storage Tanks and Heat Exchangers.
• Technical specification preparation.
• Strength calculations preparation.
• Mechanical datasheets preparation.
• Vendor document review and RFQ processes.
• Familiar with international codes: ASME BPV, EN, API 650/620/660, TEMA.
• Aware of EU PED directives and EN standards.

Responsibilities

• Design & detailing for Pressure Vessels, Tall Columns, Storage Tanks and Heat Exchangers.
• Prepare technical specifications and strength calculations.
• Prepare mechanical datasheets and manage RFQ/vendor interactions.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations and Vendor Document Reviews.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure compliance with international standards.
