Job summary

Cyient Limited seeks a Mechanical Engineer with experience in static equipment design, detailing pressure vessels, tall columns, storage tanks and heat exchangers. You will prepare technical specs, strength calculations, and mechanical datasheets, and handle RFQs, vendor reviews, and post-order documentation.

You will work with international codes (ASME B&PV, EN, API 650/620/660, TEMA) and align with EU PED/EN standards. Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in static equipment design and detailing for pressure vessels, columns and tanks.
• Strong ability to prepare technical specifications.
• Experience in strength calculations and mechanical datasheets.
• Experience in vendor RFQs, Purchase Reqs, and vendor document reviews.
• Familiarity with international codes: ASME B&PV, EN, API 650/620/660, TEMA.
• Knowledge of EU Pressure Equipment Directive and EN standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail static equipment such as vessels, columns, tanks and heat exchangers.
• Prepare technical specifications and strength calculations.
• Prepare mechanical datasheets and manage vendor documents.
• Coordinate RFQ, TBE and purchase orders with vendors and internal teams.
• Review vendor documentation post-order and ensure compliance with codes.
