Cyient Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks a seasoned engineer with hands-on experience in rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, fans, turbines) for oil, gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries. You will contribute to technical specifications, calculations, datasheets, and vendor interactions.

Responsibilities include preparing vendor lists, RFQs, evaluating bids, reviewing vendor documents, and ensuring compliance with API 610/674/676 standards; familiarity with P&IDs is required.

Competenze

• Experience in Rotary Equipments for Oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries (pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines).
• Experience in Mechanical Packages like Glycol Dehydration, Chemical Injection, WHRU, Air Dryer, Nitrogen Generation, Water Treatment, Effluent Treatment, Boilers.
• Technical Specifications preparation.
• Calculations (Sizing, NPSHa, Motor Capacity Calculations) for Vendors.
• Datasheets preparation for Vendors.
• Vendor List preparation.
• Material Requisition / RFQ for Vendors.
• Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) including technical and commercial.
• Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order.
• Vendor Document Review (VDR) / Post Order handling.
• Vendor Management.
• Good grasp of API codes: API 610, 674, 676, 617, 618, 619, 673, etc.
• Experience in developing P&IDs and review of Process documents.
• Sulphuric Acid Plant experience would be a plus.
• Interdisciplinary reviews of datasheets, specifications, and vendor documents.
• Sound knowledge of material standards, inspection and testing requirements including NDE.
