Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with PV Elite and equipment/vessel design.
• Ability to review vendor drawings and prepare material requisitions.
• Familiarity with P&ID and structural calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical team in improving overall quality while optimizing time and cost elements.
• Handle area-specific software packages for design, equipment/installation, and material requisitions.
• Perform P&ID comprehension, structural design & calculations, and equipment cost estimation.
• Conduct pressure equipment mechanical calculations and develop general specifications.
• Check pressure equipment vendor drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop GA and detailed fabrication drawings with MTO per applicable codes and standards, including technical procurement and vendor document review.
• Plan manpower, monitor progress, and coordinate with other disciplines and vendors/clients.

Job description

• Specific software packages for the area, Design, Equipment / Installation. Material Requisitions
• P&ID Comprehension, structural design & calculation, equipment cost estimation
• Pressure Equipment Mechanical calculations, general specifications
• Check of Pressure Equipment Vendor Drawings
• Experience in materials and mechanical design of tanks, vessels, columns, reactors, shell & tube exchangers, chimney, stack, in PV Elite, Compress, development of GA / detailed fabrication drawings with MTO as per National and International codes and standards, and technical procurement including preparation of material requisitions, technical bid analysis, vendor documents review and vendor documentation
• Manpower planning, progress monitoring, Manhours planning
• Co-ordination with other disciplines and vendor/client
• Software Skills – PV Elite, Compress, Tank V13.
