Job summary

Sperton Global AS in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Lead Manufacturing with 15-20 years of experience in the auto components sector to lead the Ring Gear manufacturing operations. You will drive production planning, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet EBITDA targets.

Key focus areas include daily manufacturing activities, OTIF and OEE improvements, safety, and cost variance analysis, with implementation of 5S, TPM, Lean and Kaizen across SGD I & SGD II plants.

Qualifications

• BE- Mechanical with 15-20 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in auto components/ auto ancillary sectors is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive cost, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities in Ring Gear manufacturing.
• Monitor RG transfers from multiple sections.
• Analyze and improve Plant OEE, PMPD and OTIF.
• Ensure safety, quality and cost variance reporting.
• Implement 5S, TPM, Lean, Kaizen across the plant.
• Procure new equipment and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Optimize manpower and resources.

Position Name : Lead Manufacturing

Reporting to: COO-Operations

Industry: Auto components/ Auto Ancillary

Qualification: BE- Mechanical

Experience required: 15-20 years of experience in the following:

• Leading an entire Manufacturing Team
• Handling the quality & system
• Preferably in auto ancillary company

Purpose of the role: To ensure efficient operations at SGD I & SGD-II. Responsible to achieve the budgeted Revenue and maintaining the EBITDA of the Gear Plant and also lead the improvement projects, and other activities at SGD-I & SGD II. Ensure promotion for awareness of Continual improvement and provide guidelines and resources for the same.

Key responsibilities attached to the role:

• Responsible for daily manufacturing activities in Ring Gear Manufacturing
• Daily RG transfers from various sections
• Unit PMPD, OTIF and Plant OEE - Analysis & Improvement
• Safety
• Quality
• Daily production monitoring report and cost variance analysis.
• Implementation of 5S, TPM, Lean Management & Kaizen in the plant.
• Responsible for maintain EBTDA for the plant.
• Procurement of new equipment
• Low cost automation & Cost Saving Initiatives
• Manpower optimization.
