Job summary

SV Management Consultants is seeking a seasoned Plant Operations Leader in Indore to oversee end-to-end operations across production, quality, maintenance, planning, stores and related functions in a high-volume auto components factory.

The role focuses on achieving targets including OEE, productivity and cost, while ensuring compliance with IATF standards and safety. You will drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S and capacity expansion with a strong emphasis on leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale automotive gear/transmission/manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead plant operations and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong exposure to machining processes and TPM/Lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations across Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores and related functions.
• Drive production targets, OEE, productivity, cost and delivery performance.
• Manage high-volume manufacturing of automotive gears, shafts and transmission components.
• Strong exposure to CNC/VMC/HMC, gear hobbing, shaping, shaving, grinding and heat treatment processes.
• Drive initiatives for rejection reduction, scrap control, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, customer requirements and IATF practices.
• Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead plant-level manpower planning, capability development and performance management.
• Ensure strong focus on safety, operational discipline and statutory compliance.
• Drive capacity expansion, automation and manufacturing improvement projects.
