Purpose/Objective
To lead, strategize, and oversee fire safety policies and compliance across all group businesses, ensuring risk mitigation, regulatory adherence, and innovation in fire safety practices while fostering a culture of safety and resilience.
Key Responsibilities of Role
- Lead the planning, engineering, and design of Fire Alarm & Public Address (FAPA) systems, CCTV systems, and associated ELV infrastructure for high-rise and large-scale developments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable National and International Fire Safety Codes & Standards, including NBC, NFPA, BS/EN, and other relevant regulations.
- Develop and review fire safety solutions for: - High-rise buildings - Commercial developments - Mixed-use developments - Large floor area facilities - Smart and integrated buildings Drive the integration of FAPA systems with various building systems to enhance fire safety management and emergency response effectiveness, including: - Building Management System (BMS) - HVAC & Smoke Management Systems - Elevator Recall & Fireman's Lift Operations - Access Control Systems - CCTV & Video Management Systems - Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems - Emergency Lighting Systems - Central Monitoring Stations - Integrated Command & Control Centers Establish and optimize centralized fire monitoring and control room operations, ensuring real-time monitoring of: - Fire alarms and events - System health status - Fault management - Device connectivity - Emergency response workflows Review cause-and-effect matrices, system architecture, zoning philosophy, network design, and automation logic for integrated fire protection systems.
- Provide technical leadership during design reviews, commissioning, testing, and handover stages.
- Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Fire Engineering or equivalent) Minimum 12-14 years of proven experience in planning and designing FAPA and CCTV systems.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering fire safety technology solutions for high-rise buildings and large-area developments.
- Strong knowledge of: - NBC India - NFPA Standards - BS/EN Standards - Fire Engineering Principles - ELV Systems Design - Intelligent Building Systems Hands-on experience in integrating fire alarm systems with building automation and centralized monitoring platforms.
- Strong understanding of command center operations, remote monitoring, system analytics, and fire system health management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Qualifications and Experience
