Job summary

Switchgear and Control Technics Private Limited is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of LV control panels. You will ensure manufacturability, quality, and timely execution while addressing shopfloor issues and ECN activities.

The role requires SolidWorks proficiency, sheet metal knowledge, and strong communication skills. Based in India, Bommasandra, the position involves close collaboration with manufacturing and project teams to deliver robust switchgear

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in LV switchboard panel designing is essential.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (part modeling, assembly) desired.
• Experience handling large assemblies and sheet metal design is required.
• Good communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering of LV control panels, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and on-time execution.
• Analyse shopfloor issues and ECN activity.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for sheet metal design and shop floor processes.
