Job summary

MedPlus Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead day-to-day laboratory operations in Bangalore. The role focuses on operational excellence, quality standards, manpower planning, and exceptional customer service.

You will drive TAT targets, equipment uptime, inventory control, and continuous improvement, while coordinating with collection centers and vendors to ensure seamless lab performance.

Qualifications

• MSc / BSc / DMLT degree required.
• 7–10 years of laboratory operations experience.
• Experience managing TAT, equipment, inventory and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day laboratory operations and workflow.
• Ensure TAT targets are achieved and maintained.
• Plan manpower, duty rosters, leave and productivity.
• Monitor sample flow and referral testing coordination.
• Oversee sample logistics (Hub & Spoke) and collection centers.
• Ensure equipment installation, calibration and uptime.
• Manage reagent inventory, vendor coordination and expiry control.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Review KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role

MedPlus Diagnostics is looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring operational excellence, quality standards, efficient manpower utilization, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily laboratory operations and workflow
Ensure laboratory Turnaround Time (TAT) targets are achieved
Plan manpower, duty rosters, leave schedules & productivity
Monitor sample flow and referral testing coordination
Oversee sample logistics (Hub & Spoke model) and collection centers
Ensure equipment installation, calibration, preventive maintenance & uptime
Manage reagent inventory, vendor coordination & expiry control
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
Review daily operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement
