Job summary

Bajaj Auto Limited in India seeks an experienced Collections Manager to lead a team of COs/DMAs across the hub. You will drive arrear resolution, bucket-wise recoveries, and ensure timely payouts to agencies. The role requires monthly field reviews, quarterly performance checks, and implementation of HO/RO strategies to improve day-to-day collection results.

Responsibilities

• Managing the collections through team of COs/DMAs
• Responsible for the collection’s performance on various collection parameters such as arrear resolution and bucket wise resolutions (including Roll forward rates, Loan loss provisioning, and Penal interest collection) for the assigned geographical area
• Performance review on field – monthly basis and quarterly performance review of the CO’s of allocated collection targets
• Monthly review of Agency performance, acting against the low performer COs, DMAs (off rolls) & agencies, identifying & suggesting new agencies/DMAs for collection and empanelment of these new agencies
• Ensuring periodic billing and processing of payouts for the agencies/DMAs as per the approved payout grids
• Periodic evaluation/correction of the field capacity as per the Avg. Collection Ratio (ACR)
• Ensuring smooth execution of strategies/drives planned by HO/RO for day-to-day collection performance improvement
• Repo kit requirement, monitoring repo Stock inventory and compliance to repo processes
• Liquidation of eligible repo assets with brokers and HO team and collect payment for approved-for-sale cases
• Receipt books/HHTs, mobile app codes requests for agencies; monitor deposition of collection amount by agencies; action against non-adherence
• Recommending initiation of appropriate legal actions in chronic default cases with local legal team
• Daily productivity MIS maintenance and sharing with higher management
• Monthly team meetings at hub location for performance review and setting next month’s targets
• Managing customer service escalations for collection issues and providing inputs on geo limits and negative areas
• Escalation of sales issues (registration, dealer service) for delinquent cases with ASMs daily
