The L2 Application Support Engineer will be responsible for providing hands-on support for application-related issues, focusing on Java scripting, SQL queries, and Linux environments. The role involves troubleshooting defects, managing deployments, and ensuring adherence to SLAs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Handle Java scripting tasks – mandatory hands-on experience with basic scripting to troubleshoot application issues. 2. Write and execute SQL queries to investigate defects and navigate database tables for data extraction and issue identification. 3. Work within Linux environments – navigate and operate in Linux systems (expertise not required, but experience is mandatory). 4. Use ticketing tools like JIRA, RALLY, or SERVICENOW for issue tracking and management. 5. Perform code deployments across various environments (lower to higher) and manage release processes. 6. Work on SLA-based projects, prioritize tickets, and understand associated Service Level Agreements. 7. Manage Release Management activities including CI/CD pipeline, UAT deployments, environment setup, and SOP updates. 8. Handle installation, configuration, and administration of software systems.
- Hands-on Java scripting experience. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and database navigation. - Experience in Linux environment operations. - Experience with ticketing tools (JIRA, RALLY, SERVICENOW, etc..) - Code deployment experience across multiple environments. - SLA-based project experience. - Release Management (CI/CD, UAT, environment setup). - Software installation, configuration, and administration.
