Job summary

Pi Square Technologies is seeking experienced professionals for Application Support Level 2.5 & Level 3 in the Investment Banking domain. The role requires strong Java/J2EE development and SQL query skills, with Unix/Linux basics, ITSM tools, and incident management experience.

Best fit candidates have 4–6 years of hands-on support, and flexibility for Bangalore/Hyderabad work arrangements. CTC expectations can be discussed; notice period is immediate to 30 days with preference for candidates

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in application support in investment banking domain.
• Experience in level 2.5 or level 3 support with Java/J2EE and SQL.
• Strong Java/J2EE debugging and SQL skills; Unix/Linux basics.
• Graduation 60% or above; BGV is mandatory.
• Immediate to 15–30 days notice preferred; no career gaps over 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide rotational shift based technical app support across Unix/Linux/SQL/Java meeting the SLA
• Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve Unix/Linux/SQL/Java related issues
• Daily incident and problem management activities meeting the SLA
• Identify opportunities for automation in BAU support work
• Work closely with cross functional teams, development team and business and IT Infrastructure teams to address BAU production issues.
• Create, maintain, and update detailed documentation including requirements, process flows and use cases,
• Train the team in new processes and updated processes

Team: Application Support & Maintenance

Location: Preference is Bangalore/Hyderabad

Experience: 4-6 years

Important :

Notice period : Immediate to 15-30 days ONLY.

Candidates serving Notice period will be preferred.

Please note - There should not be Career Gap more than 6 months(No Career Break)

Graduation score should be 60% & above

BGV (Background Verification)is mandatory.

We are seeking 4-6 years experience and skilled in application support as level 2 or level 3 in investment banking domain with deep understanding of functionalities of the applications supported and expertise Java and SQL query writing.

This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, developers and businesses to identify, trouble shoot and fix issues in production within the SLA applicable.

Key Requirements App support level 2.5 (Java/J2EE & SQL):

• Strong technical background & hands-on experience in Java/J2EE code analysis & debugging
• Strong hands-on experience in writing SQL queries from intermediate to advanced complexity.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
• Knowledge & experience in any ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy etc.)
• Knowledge & experience in Incident & problem management
• Experience of handling high support volume
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Flexibility with shift timings (India shift hours between 6AM to 10 PM) support on weekends & holidays (Rotational)
• Willingness to learn and work in-house programming
• Flexibility to work in remote/Hybrid/complete WFO models
