Bounteous is seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer to support production applications, manage incidents, and perform troubleshooting with moderate Java coding exposure. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, strong problem-solving abilities, and solid SQL skills (Oracle/DB2/Sybase) on Linux/Unix.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for production applications and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and system-related issues.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Computer Science fundamentals .
• Experience in problem-solving within development or production support environments.
• Working knowledge of Java (moderate coding proficiency).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, DB2, Sybase, or similar RDBMS.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Financial Services / Investment Banking domain.
• Exposure to ITIL Incident and Problem Management processes.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, HDFS , and cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and support tools.
