Job summary

Sunny Diamonds in Kerala, India, seeks an organized Inventory & Accounts Assistant to manage stock records, transfers, and reconciliation across showrooms and warehouses. You will track materials, verify costs, and ensure accurate GST/TDS compliance while maintaining audit trails and documentation.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally and accounting software, with a preference for retail or jewelry stock environments.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Tally and accounting software systems.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
• Experience in retail, jewelry, or stock-intensive industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Record inward and outward inventory transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Handle branch transfer entries, stock movement documentation, and reconciliation.
• Manage job work entries and track materials issued and received.
• Verify purchase values, material cost (MC), and inventory valuation details.
• Prepare daily stock reconciliation statements and identify discrepancies.
• Perform barcode-based reconciliation between branch locations and Head Office.
• Maintain records for repair items, stock return (SR) items, and stock under repair.
• Prepare melting and casting reconciliation reports with supporting documentation.
• Handle TDS entries and assist in ensuring statutory compliance requirements.
• Support GST compliance activities by maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and supporting inventory records.
• Coordinate with showroom and warehouse teams to resolve stock-related discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory data is updated accurately and on time in the system.
• Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing required reports and records.
• Working knowledge of Tally and accounting software systems.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and inventory accounting principles.
• Experience in retail, jewelry, or stock-intensive industries will be an advantage.
