Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate with Diploma in Logistics Management.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant logistics experience (domestic and international).
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP Navision MM module.

Responsibilities

• Raise PRs and POs to suppliers for assigned categories.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure shipment readiness per lead times.
• Coordinate procurement plans with category teams.
• Monitor ETD and ETA and verify shipment milestones.
• Verify invoices, packing lists, AWB/BL and other documents.
• Hand over documents to CHA for clearance at ICD and Air Cargo terminals.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics from supplier warehouse to HDF warehouse.
• Arrange freight forwarders for ExWorks shipments.
• Track cargo with freight forwarders, CHAs, shipping lines and airlines.
• Coordinate with Customs to address clearance requirements and compliance.
• Track shipment status until final delivery.
• Identify and resolve delays or documentation gaps.
• Do stock adjustments in ERP; weekly MIS on pending orders; monitor supplier performance.

Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers for assigned categories.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure shipment readiness as per agreed lead times.
• Coordinate closely with category teams to align procurement plans and shipment schedules.

Shipment & Documentation Management

• Monitor shipment milestones including ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipment documentation (invoice, packing list, AWB/BL, etc.).
• Ensure all required documents are handed over to Customs House Agents (CHA) on time for clearance at ICD and Air Cargo terminals.

Logistics & Freight Coordination

• Coordinate the endtoend logistics process, from supplier warehouse to HDF warehouse.
• Arrange and manage freight forwarders for ExWorks shipments based on shipment requirements.
• Follow up with freight forwarders, CHAs, shipping lines, and airlines to track cargo movement and ensure timely delivery.

Customs & Compliance

• Coordinate with Customs teams to address clearance requirements, documentation, and compliance issues.
• Track shipment status until customs clearance and final delivery are completed without delays.
• Delivery & Performance Monitoring
• Ensure shipments are delivered to the HDF warehouse within committed timelines.
• Proactively identify and resolve shipment delays, documentation gaps, or operational issues.

Monitoring inventory discrepancies

• Do necessary negative/positive stock adjustment in ERP
• Weekly MIS on pending order status & update SCM & Category
• Supplier performance analysis, vendor discrepancy list, shipment tracker and other sop are followed from time to time

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Graduate/ Postgraduate with Diploma in Logistics Management
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Logistics (Domestics and International)
• Knowledge of MS Office, Navision MM module
