Job summary

IndianOil LNG Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai seeks a skilled instrumentation professional to maintain field instruments and control systems in LNG processing environments.

A Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control with at least 60% marks and 3–8 years of post-qualification experience is required. Preference given to those with LNG/oil & gas or allied industries exposure. Knowledge of Siemens PLC and ABB 800 XA DCS is advantageous; familiarity with rotary instruments, analyzers and control

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control with minimum 60% marks.
• Experience in maintenance of field instruments and control systems.
• Knowledge of hazardous area equipment installation, operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Attend jobs as per work permits in various shifts.
• Calibrate instruments; perform preventive maintenance and breakdown calls.
• Prepare yearly calibration schedules (critical & non critical).
• Check equipment performance.
• Calibrate F&G systems and troubleshoot.
• Maintain department documents.
• Implement new modifications.
• Coordinate with related functions.

Job description

1. Maximum Age (in Years) as: 35 Years

2. Minimum Post Qualification Experience (in Years) as: 3 to 8 Years

3. Essential Qualification(s): Full Time Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control engineering with Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a reputed Institute recognized by respective State Board of Technical Education/AICTE.

4. Essential Skills and Experience:

• Maintenance of Field Instruments and control systems, Logic reading etc. Thorough knowledge of hazardous area equipment installation, operation & maintenance is a must.
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC system and ABB 800 XA DCS system will be an added advantage.
• Experience in rotary machine instruments, analyzers and control valves is an added advantage.

5. Preference in Experience:

• Experience in LNG/Oil & Gas / Refinery/Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Chemical / Cryogenic Industry shall be preferred

6. Essential functions of the position:

• Attending the job as per the work permit in various shifts
• Perform instrument calibration, Preventive Maintenance & breakdown call if any.
• Preparation of yearly calibration critical & Non critical schedule
• Equipment performance checking.
• F & G system calibration & Trouble shooting
• Up keeping all the department documents.
• Implementation of new modification.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other related functions.
