Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking an instrumentation engineer with 3–8 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance and reliability. The role requires hands-on calibration of field instruments, DCS/PLCs and Fire & Gas systems, plus familiarity with ISA/IEC standards.

You will review P&IDs, provide technical support to stakeholders, and work across SAP PM/MM modules while maintaining clear communication with teams.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Plant Operations, Maintenance and Instrumentation Reliability.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classification, P&ID, Fire & Gas Layout diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Safe charts.
• Experience in calibration of all field instruments like transmitters, switches, valves, Fire and Gas detectors, analyzers.
• Hands on experience in DCS, ESDs, SIS, PLCs, Fire and gas detection system.
• Awareness of field instrument selection and installation guidelines.
• Knowledge of equipment criticality assessment.
• Knowledge of SIL assessment will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE and other related standards.
• Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is preferred.
• Analyzing performance of the field instruments and alarms.
• To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task.
• Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation with 1-5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/LNG industry.
