Job summary

Indianoil Lng is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Control Engineer to install, program, commission and maintain control systems across LNG facilities. You will handle DCS, ESD, PLC and SCADA, ensuring robust communications and system integrity.

Ideal candidates have a 60%+ engineering degree in Instrumentation/Control and relevant LNG/oil and gas industry experience, with up to 5 years post-qualification. Age limit is 33 years as of 10.09.2026; last date to apply is 17.09.2026.

Qualifications

• Full-time degree in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control with minimum 60% marks from AICTE-approved university.
• Experience in Automation industries LNG/Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation, programming, commissioning and maintenance of control systems including DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA and MCMS.
• Thorough knowledge of communication protocols and various system communications.
• Attending jobs as per the work permit and performing preventive maintenance and breakdown calls.
• Equipment performance checks and maintenance for DCS, PLC, MCMS, Fire & Gas systems.
• Logic modifications and implementation of new modification works in control systems.
• Support audits, compliance activities and project work.
• Material and spares management and upkeep of department documents.
• Coordinate with related functions to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Installation, programming, commissioning, & maintenance of control systems including DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, MCMS, Cyber security systems etc.
• Thorough knowledge of communication protocols and various system communications.
• Experience in ABB 800 XA DCS system will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Siemens PLC systems and Rockwell PLC systems will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Foundation Fieldbus systems will be an added advantage.
• Attending the jobs as per the work permit.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance & breakdown call if any.
• Equipment performance checking.
• All control system maintenance including DCS, PLC, Machine conditioning monitoring systems, Fire & gas systems etc.
• Logic modifications in control systems.
• Implementation of new modification works.
• Supporting in various audits and compliances.
• Supporting in various projects.
• Material & spares management.
• Up keeping all the department documents.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other related functions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Full Time Degree in Engineering in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control with Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University / Institute approved by AICTE.

• Experience in Automation industries/LNG/Oil & Gas / Refinery/Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Chemical / Cryogenic Industry shall be preferred
