Job summary

Quest Global is looking for experienced professionals in Bengaluru to provide technical support in Instrumentation for various workflows. Candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation and have 1-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or LNG industries.

The successful applicant will need strong knowledge of field instruments, P&IDs, and DCS/PLC systems. Excellent English communication and the ability to collaborate with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/LNG industry.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classification.
• Knowledge of SIL assessment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers on various workflows.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customer on various workflows assigned.
• Participate and present engineering and technical solutions to different stakeholders.
• Review of P&IDs, layouts, specifications, and other instrument documents.
• 3-8 years of experience in Plant Operations, Maintenance and Instrumentation Reliability.
• Familiarity of hazardous area classification, P & ID, Fire & Gas Layout diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Safe charts etc.
• Experience in calibration of all field Instruments like Transmitters, Switches, Valves, Fire and gas detectors, Analyzers etc.
• Hands on experience in DCS, ESD’s, SIS, PLCs, Fire and gas detection system.
• Awareness of various field instrument selection and installation guidelines.
• Knowledge of equipment criticality assessment.
• Knowledge of SIL assessment will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE and others related standards.
• Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is preferred.
• Analyzing performance of the filed Instruments and Alarms.
• To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task.
• Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation with 1-5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/LNG industry.

Preferred Skills

• MS office suites (Excel, Word, Power point)
• Tableau, PowerBI, SPI InTools, exSILentia, SIL solver will be an added advantage
