Job summary

We are looking for a Junior Billing and Estimation Engineer to assist in the preparation of construction estimates, quantity calculations, project billing, and cost analysis. The candidate should have a basic understanding of civil construction activities and working knowledge of DSR 2023.

Key responsibilities include preparing BOQs, rate analysis, tender documents, and verifying quantities with site measurements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction billing and estimation.
• Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, government projects, or railway projects preferred.
• Familiar with DSR 2023.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed estimates for construction and civil engineering projects.
• Calculating quantities based on drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
• Preparing rate analysis using DSR 2023 and other applicable schedules of rates.
• Assisting in preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Preparing and checking client bills, contractor bills, and running account bills.
• Verifying quantities executed at site and maintaining measurement records.
• Comparing estimated quantities with actual executed quantities.
• Assisting in preparation of variation statements and additional item rates.
• Coordinating with site engineers and project teams for billing-related information.
• Maintaining proper records of drawings, estimates, BOQs, bills, and supporting documents.
• Assisting senior engineers in cost control and project budgeting.
