Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to create multi-layer layouts for analog-digital, low and high-power designs, and draft schematics. You will ensure mechanical constraints and datasheet specs are met while collaborating with hardware and mechanical teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of PCB layout experience in Xpedition, Altium, Pads, Orcad or KiCad, and familiarity with CAM tools and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication).
• Experience of 2-3 years PCB Layout in Xpedition, Pads, Altium Designer, Orcad, Ki-Cad.
• Excellent English communication; willing to learn and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create multi-layer PCB layouts for Analog-digital, low and high-power design.
• Draft schematics and place components considering mechanical constraints and datasheet.
• Coordinate with hardware, mechanical engineers and ECAD library team to ensure manufacturability.
• Review fabrication and assembly queries per DFM requirements under senior guidance.

Job description

• Hands on experience of schematic drafting.
• Perform component placement considering mechanical constraints and manufacturing best practices and datasheet.
• Able to define and apply design rules to meet manufacturing requirement.
• Work closely with Hardware Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and ECAD library team.
• Knowledge of controlled impedance routing for high-speed interfaces.
• Review and resolve fabrication and assembly queries as per DFM requirement under senior assistance.

• Experience in any standard ECAD tool such as Xpedition Enterprise, Altium Designer, PADS, Orcad and Ki-Cad
• Generate Gerber, ODB++, drill file, Bill of Materials and assembly drawings.
• Validate manufacturing data using CAM350 and Gerbtool.
• Knowledge of any PLM tool such as SAP, Windchill or Enovia
• Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-610, IPC-6012, IPC-7351 and IPC-2581, Saturn PCB Toolkit will be additional advantage.
