Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune invites a PCB Layout Engineer to join our hardware team. You will design multi-layer PCB layouts for analog-digital and power applications, and draft schematics with attention to manufacturing constraints.

Experience: 2–3 years in PCB layout using Xpedition, Altium, PADS, Orcad or KiCad; Diploma or Bachelor's in Electronics/Telecommunication. Strong English communication and team collaboration are essential for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication).
• 2–3 years PCB layout experience in standard tools (Xpedition, Pads, Altium, Orcad, Ki-Cad).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create multi-layer PCB layouts for analog-digital, low and high-power designs.
• Draft schematics with attention to manufacturing constraints and datasheets.
• Define and apply design rules to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Place components considering mechanical constraints and ECAD library standards and collaborate with HW/Mech teams.

Job description

• Create multi-layer PCB layouts for Analog-digital, low and high-power design.
• Hands on experience of schematic drafting.
• Perform component placement considering mechanical constraints and manufacturing best practices and datasheet.
• Able to define and apply design rules to meet manufacturing requirement.
• Work closely with Hardware Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and ECAD library team.
• Knowledge of controlled impedance routing for high-speed interfaces.
• Review and resolve fabrication and assembly queries as per DFM requirement under senior assistance.

Technical Skills

• Experience in any standard ECAD tool such as Xpedition Enterprise, Altium Designer, PADS, Orcad and Ki-Cad
• Generate Gerber, ODB++, drill file, Bill of Materials and assembly drawings.
• Validate manufacturing data using CAM350 and Gerbtool.
• Knowledge of any PLM tool such as SAP, Windchill or Enovia
• Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-610, IPC-6012, IPC-7351 and IPC-2581, Saturn PCB Toolkit will be additional advantage.
