Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Control-M Job Scheduling and batch processing in 24x7 environments.
• Proficient in Job Monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and SQL for data validation.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and Incident/Problem/Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage batch jobs using Control-M to ensure successful execution.
• Perform job scheduling activities including rerun, hold, free, and dependency management.
• Troubleshoot job failures, scheduling conflicts, and batch processing issues.
• Provide L2 production support and adhere to SLAs.
• Conduct RCA and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
• Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Participate in deployment activities and batch validation processes.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow/JIRA.
• Support operational excellence and continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with Control-M scheduling tools, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth execution of batch processes in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage batch jobs using Control-M to ensure successful and timely execution.
• Perform job scheduling activities including rerun, hold, free, and dependency management.
• Troubleshoot job failures, scheduling conflicts, and batch processing issues.
• Provide L2 production support and ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
• Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Participate in deployment activities and batch validation processes.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow/JIRA.
