Responsibilities
- 1-3 years of experience in L1/L2 level Control‑M Administration and scheduling, maintenance, enhancement, production/application support, and infrastructure administration.
- Must be an Infrastructure Administrator of Control‑M and have deep knowledge and experience of the BMC Control‑M platform as a whole, including all of its core components (Server, EM, CCM, Agents, GUI, etc.).
- Perform upgrade/migration and new installation of Control‑M/Server, Control‑M/EM and Agents.
- Have experience in DR/HA activity.
- Perform daily analysis and reporting of production.
- Install and configure Agent plug‑ins for Control‑M.
- Possess sound knowledge and hands‑on experience with Control‑M Utility.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
- Document technical and operational procedures for reference purposes.
- Track production incidents and work with cross‑functional teams for resolution.
- Have good knowledge and hands‑on experience with Control‑M REST API.
- Have good knowledge of Control‑M job creation and its maintenance, calendar creations/maintenance.
- Resolve high‑priority issues related to Control‑M.
- Perform maintenance activities.
- Handle L2 level activities in job scheduling environments (Primary: Control‑M; Secondary: UC4, Autosys, JSC, Dollar Universe).
- Have knowledge of both UNIX and Windows environments.
- Recommend suggestions that comply with standards and best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively; contribute to timely completion of project deliverables well short of schedule.
- Resolve production high severity issues in a timely manner.
- Provide on‑call support for production environment during non‑business hours.
- Have rich exposure to automation and programming through UNIX shell scripting, Python, or any other scripting language (added advantage).
- Good in UNIX & WINDOWS OS.
- ITIL certified.
- Have managed complex environments.
- Have Control‑M Infrastructure Administration knowledge.
