Job summary

Zensar Bengaluru is seeking a Senior ControlM Engineer with strong expertise in ControlM architecture, advanced job scheduling, and enterprise workload automation. You will work hands-on with EM, Server, and Agent in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities include designing and configuring batch workloads, managing end-to-end lifecycle, upgrades, RCA, security, and collaborating with App, DB, and Infra teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in ControlM architecture (EM, Server, Agent).
• Hands-on expertise in job creation, scheduling and workflow design.
• Experience in ControlM administration: installation, configuration, Agent deployment, upgrades/patching.
• Experience in a 247 production support environment: incident management, RCA, SLA handling.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise batch workloads using ControlM.
• Perform job creation, scheduling, and workflow design across complex environments.
• Handle ControlM architecture (EM, Server, Agent) including administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage end-to-end batch lifecycle including dependencies, calendars, and conditions.
• Perform ControlM upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Investigate and resolve critical job failures, performance issues, and SLA breaches.
• Provide L3 production support in a 247 environment.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Manage ControlM user access, security, and audit compliance.
• Work with cross-functional teams (App, DB, Infra) for release & batch alignment.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer.
