Job summary

Azim Premji Foundation is seeking a Civil Billing Specialist in Bengaluru to manage contractor/vendor bills and ensure accurate measurement, reconciliation, and certification against project drawings. You will verify RA and final bills, review BOQs and rate analyses, and support commercial controls across multiple sites.

The role requires a BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with 3–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering mandatory.
• 3–4 years of experience in construction billing or related.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contractual docs.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and certify contractor and vendor bills including RA and Final Bills.
• Measure quantities, reconcile, and validate from drawings and site records.
• Review BOQs, rate analysis, and project billing documents.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
• Verify quantities and bill certification through site visits as needed.
• Ensure adherence to contract conditions and approved project docs.

Location: Bangalore Office

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation, verification, and certification of contractor and vendor bills, including RA Bills and Final Bills.
• Quantity measurement, reconciliation, and validation based on project drawings and site records.
• Review and analysis of BOQs, rate analysis, and project billing documents.
• Coordination with project teams to ensure accurate billing and commercial compliance.
• Verification of quantities and bill certification through regular visits to project sites as required.
• Ensuring adherence to contract conditions, specifications, and approved project documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• 3–4 years of experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, commercial management, or project billing.
• Strong understanding of:
• BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
• Rate Analysis
• Running Account (RA) Bills
• Final Bills
• Quantity Reconciliation
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and contractual documents.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
