Job summary

Simran Consultant LLP in Varanasi is looking for a professional responsible for sourcing and procurement of fabrics. The role includes collecting information for T&A calendar, following up on fabric and trims, assisting in preparing production files, and managing costing inputs. The ideal candidate should have the ability to track style statuses closely, ensuring timely and quality fabric procurement. This position focuses on maintaining effective communication with suppliers and production teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Sourcing & Procurement of Fabrics on right price, of specified quality, at right time.
• Collecting information for T&A calendar with Sourcing & Production deptt.
• Follow up of fabric, trims / accessories internally and if required follow up with supplier.
• Help Senior Merchandiser in Preparing production file with detailed documents.
• Collecting costing inputs and preparing cost sheets.

Job description

Roles And Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement of Fabrics on right price, of specified quality, at right time.
• Collecting information for T&A calendar with Sourcing & Production deptt. & chase department who are running late, and escape deviation upward in hierarchy. Keeping track of style status and updating the same to top management and buyers.
• Collecting information for Bill of material in ERP for procurement of fabric & Trims - Based on tech pack (technical sheet)
• Follow up of fabric, trims / accessories internally and if required follow up with supplier, and escatate deviation upward in hierarchy.
• Help Senior Merchandiser in Preparing production file with detailed documents, approvals, samples and swatches and comments on sample from buyer.
• Follow up Submission from printing, embroidery production and other subcontracting work and Sending / Follow up on approvals from buyer.
• Collecting costing inputs and preparing cost sheets.
• Collecting & organizing post shipment data for analysis & style closure.
