Job summary

Simran Consultant LLP in Uttar Pradesh is seeking a procurement-focused professional to source fabrics at the right price and of the specified quality, ensuring on-time delivery.

You will manage budgets and timelines with vendors and managers, set quality standards, supervise junior staff, and oversee fabric planning and budgeting in line with production needs, resolving fabric issues and expanding vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement of Fabrics on right price, of specified quality, at right time.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timescales with Vendors and Managers.
• Determining quality control standards.
• Supervising and managing the work of junior staff.
• Managing the overall fabric purchase activity & budgeting, fabric planning and sourcing in alignment with production requirements.
• Must be able to identify and resolve fabrics issues.
• Developing new & existing vendors & ensuring smooth fabric supply chain.
