Job summary

OktoBuzz Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a Jr Accountant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, record client and vendor invoices, and support the finance team with accurate financial data.

The role requires 6 months to 2 years of experience and a B.Com or M.Com, with hands-on use of MS Excel and Tally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely invoicing and proper cash flow management.

Qualifications

• Formal accounting education with B.Com or M.Com.
• Experience in bookkeeping and invoicing.
• Familiarity with Tally and basic taxation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping with accuracy and timeliness.
• Record client and vendor invoices in accounting software.
• Follow up with clients for timely payments.
• Coordinate with vendors for onboarding and payments.
• Update bank statements and assist cash flow management.
• Log admin bills, vouchers, and POs per policies.
• Support accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping activities in an accurate and timely manner to achieve overall department objectives
• Record all client and vendor invoices in the accounting software in an accurate and timely manner
• Follow up with clients for timely realization of invoiced amounts in association with various functional teams
• Coordinate with vendors for efficient onboarding and payment execution
• Update actual bank statements and reconciliations regularly and assist the team lead in effective cash flow management
• Log in entries on regular and timely basis for all admin bills, vouchers, and POs as per accounting policies
• Administrative and ad hoc assignments concerning the accounting and finance department of the organization
