Job summary

iCodejr is seeking an Accountant in Mumbai (Malad West) to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain accurate records, and ensure statutory compliance. The role requires at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in Zoho Books and Excel, with GST/TDS know-how.

The position is office-based (Work From Office) with working hours 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, six days a week. Salary is ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month, with immediate joiners encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and perform bookkeeping.
• Process vendor payments, invoices, and employee reimbursements.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banking partners.
• Maintain payroll records and employee reimbursement documentation.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
