Qualifications

• Proactive in collecting vouchers and supporting documents timely.

Responsibilities

• Complete the book entries and close monthly accounts for multiple clients.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should have good knowledge about company accounting as well as investments entries of equities and mutual funds in software like Tally & Zoho.
• Should complete the book entries and close the monthly accounts as per the timelines set by the management for multiple clients.
• Should be able to prepare bank reconciliation statements, GST reports, TDS reports and other statutory reports and file the monthly / quarterly returns on online portal.
• Must be able to reconcile 26 AS entries and annual GST returns with books of accounts.
• The candidate will need to make bank payments for multiple clients as per maker checker system on different bank portals, after prior approval from clients and management.
• Must keep proper records and documents of multiple clients and file them accurately for smooth tracing and audit trails.
• Must prepare periodic status reports for multiple clients with respect to investment portfolio, monthly MIS (Revenue & Expenses with Budgets), Asset register, statutory compliances (GST / TDS/ PF), etc and share it with the Sr Accountant.
• Must assist the statutory auditor in completing the year end audits on time and filing of Annual Income Tax Returns for Individuals and Companies.
