Job summary

RANK Group Mumbai is seeking an entry-level Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting entries, GST returns, TDS filings, and statutory compliance.

You will maintain books, coordinate with auditors, and assist in monthly/quarterly financial reports while ensuring accuracy and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and compliance.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP / other accounting software.
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per statutory norms.
• Manage GST returns, TDS filings, and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, ROC, GST, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audit and statutory filings.
• Maintain vendor payments, receivables tracking and bank reconciliations.
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
