Job summary

RANK Group in Mumbai is seeking an entry-level to junior accountant to handle daily books, GST returns, and compliance. The role requires a B.Com/M.Com degree with at least two years of accounting exposure and strong GST knowledge. The candidate will manage vendor payments and financial reporting under the supervision of the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and compliance.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per statutory norms.
• Manage GST returns, TDS filings, and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, ROC, GST, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audit and statutory filings.
• Maintain vendor payments, receivables tracking and bank reconciliations.
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
