Job summary

Epiroc Mining is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in structure design, welding, GD&T, and Creo Parametric to join our design team. You will design robust structures for mining equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will create detailed drawings and simulations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop welding procedures, apply GD&T, and support production through design reviews to improve reliability and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in structure design, welding, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric (3D modeling and 2D drawings).
• Knowledge of welding standards (ASME/AWS) and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structures for mining equipment using Creo Parametric.
• Create detailed drawings, models, and simulations for manufacturability and performance.
