About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a contract basis. The engineer will work full-time from our office and support ongoing design and development projects. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Work on design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and GD&T application.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electronics, testing, manufacturing).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and project requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.
• Familiarity with GD&T, engineering documentation, and BOM creation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
