Job summary

Onward Technologies Ltd in Pune/Talegaon is seeking a Design (NX Sheetmetal) Engineer to join a permanent, work-from-office role. The job runs in a two-shift arrangement (Early Morning and Noon).

Interview process is Final Level L2 – Face to Face with a tool test; bus and canteen facilities are provided. The candidate should have 2–5 years of Sheet Metal Design experience with strong UG NX skills, GD&T and tolerance stack-up understanding, and familiarity with materials and manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Sheet Metal Design.
• Strong hands-on experience with UG NX.
• Good understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes (bending, forming, welding).
• GD&T and tolerance stackup.
• Materials, fasteners, and surface treatments.
• Experience in automotive / offhighway / construction equipment domain preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLM tools (Teamcenter preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and detailing of sheet metal components using UG NX.
• Interpret customer and internal specifications for designs.
• Show strong problem-solving and communication in project execution.
