The role reports to AM (Store-Inward) and involves 6-day work weeks in a fast paced automotive components environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma with relevant store/inward experience.
• Experience in automotive components manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP MM & PP modules.
• Ability to manage material receipt, storage and issue with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of material and storage ensuring accuracy.
• Issue of material with FIFO and bar coding system.
• Documentation activities including GRN, service entries and audits.
• Handle rejections, supplier debit notes, and vendor communication.

Job Purpose:

Material receipt, storage and issue as per norms and requirements shared. Ensure proper upkeep of material without any damages/losses.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Receipt of Material and Storage

Material Receipt, Record keeping, loading/unloading, Quantity checking & verifying with PO and Bills/ Invoices.

Keep records of inward and outwards of material.

Keep inward material after QA clearance inside the store as per identified location.

Make GRN, Service entry of bills & DMS timely to avoid delaying vendor payment.

Ensure to adhere inward activities as per SOP.

Ensure storage of all material as per storage norms

Maintain accuracy of BOP & NON BOM parts. (System Vs Actual.)

2. Issue of Material

Ensure issuance happens as per bar coding system

Maintain the FIFO at the time of material issuance.

3. Managing Rejections

Raise the vendor debit note and send the rejection on timely.

Ensure before sending the vendor rejection 100 % counting of material and that there is not mix up of rejected material of another vendor
