Job summary

Advik in Bangalore seeks a Senior Engineer in PPC to manage planning, scheduling and material flow for OTIF deliveries. You will handle MRP runs, ASN processing, and daily dispatch planning while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Prior experience in auto components manufacturing and SAP MM/SD is preferred. The role requires BE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 4–6 years of relevant experience, and reports to the AM PPC.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering is acceptable with relevant experience.
• Experience in auto components manufacturing preferred, especially machining and assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor production and material flow to meet OTIF delivery.
• Perform monthly MRP and ASN run and data preparation.
• Prepare daily dispatch plan and monitor production plan vs actual.
• Coordinate supplier schedules vs actuals and ensure timely materials availability.
• Review on-hold/NC material and trigger timely clearance.
• Coordinate CAPA for line losses due to material issues and delivery failures.

Job Purpose:

Ensure that schedules are released to suppliers (BOM, Non-BOM) and ensure timely supply of all required material in the plant so that delivery to customers can happen OTIF, ensuring loop completion as per schedule

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• 1. Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring
• Do the monthly MRP and ASN Run & data Preparation.
• Prepare the Daily Dispatch Plan.
• Monitor the Production Plan vs. Actual and take action to ensure adherence to schedules
• Prepare Supplier schedule Plan vs Actual Summary (including job work)
• 2. Material Management
• Review on hold/NC Material and ensure appropriate action is taken e.g., timely clearance.
• Monitor FG Stock at Advik and trigger/ follow-up for supplies from Sintered, Sheet metal, Plastic, Machining & Rubber Suppliers.
• Review of Critical Parts on a daily basis (check in stores) & follow-up with Sintered, Sheet metal, Plastic, Machining & Rubber Suppliers for timely supply (as per schedule)
• Ensure material availability in Assy/Machine Shop
• Monitor the completion of useful life
• Ensure that the old dies / tools are taken back for appropriate disposal
• Provision of new Die/tools with SIR Clearance.
• 4. CAPA management
• Provide CAPA for Line Loss due to No Material.
• Provide CAPA for Delivery failures from the Suppliers.
